INTRODUCTION

Judith Carmelie Jacques

My name is Judith Carmelie Jacques. I am a Middle School Teacher, with a Master of Business Administration and Health Administration degrees, working for the Southeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists at Palm Bay SDA School in Melbourne, Florida. I am married to Lesly Jacques and together we have two adult daughters. I am also a student at the Universidad de Montemorelos, Mexico, also known as University of Montemorelos, completing a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Administration degree. I have worked in business, leadership, and education for over 30 years. I have a passion for education and believe in motivating and training others for success. This doctorate degree will enable me to better serve in different capacities wherever the Lord desires to lead me.

MISSION

Serve and enthuse people to cultivate the power of faith, confidence, and determination to achieve whatever goals they set for their lives regardless of what comes their way.

VISION

Inspire and empower men and women to be the best they can be and encourage them to pass along to others around them the same opportunity.

PHILOSOPHY

When I graduated with a bachelor of Business Administration degree from Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan, I decided that will not be the last step of my educational life. However, my goal to earn a Master in the same area of study was not a clear path. There were many obstacles on the way but I was determined that I have to move forward. In order for me to achieve my goals I had to change my strategies several times. As I faced road blocks and hurdles I put my trust in God and tried to stay focus as my ultimate goal was not that master but my doctorate. At that time I decided to earn a dual master. The Lord granted them to me and also allowed me to start my terminal degree.

As I reflect upon that experience I understand that success is a combination of prayer, trust in God, education, determination, and hard work. Education is the key that opens the door of many opportunities. It is also the path that leads one to exciting changes in behavior, mindset and in the way people connect with others from the family setting to the community at large.

My decision to further my education is not only for self-satisfaction but it is also a way to inspire others and make a helpful impact on those who are reluctant or afraid to set high educational goals for themselves due to financial or other reasons.

I do believe that living an authentic Christian life and helping others to better themselves is a way to contribute positively to society and make a difference in others’ lives.

I also believe that as God blesses me I can bless others by motivating, encouraging and helping them in their educational endeavor to equip themselves with the powerful gears that they need to change their lives for the better and to proper.
