Personal reflection of the competence:
Another great aspect of the program was not only the student-professor interactions as they spoke different languages but the classes were also taught with PowerPoint presentations both in English and Spanish. The program was designed to give the students the opportunity to read, write and speak some Spanish as we were studying in a Spanish speaking country, Mexico. It helped us to be mindful and more understanding of people who speak languages that are different from ours.
